WINTER ACTIVITIES

Snowshoeing

Numerous trails criss-cross the resort. Kilometers of hiking trails, classified according to level of difficulty and starting village, are accessible free of charge and in complete autonomy.

Bobsleigh, Skeleton, Luge

La Plagne is home to France's only bobsleigh and skeleton track. Nestled beneath Plagne 1800, it echoes a tradition deeply rooted in our Alpine resort. Even before La Plagne became a ski resort, locals enjoyed "road bobsleighing", taking advantage of the area's intense cold to create the beginnings of the track.

Sleigh dogs

If you're an animal lover, if you're fascinated by the complicity between man and dog, we strongly advise you to try dogsledding!

Paragliding and air sports

A picture is worth a thousand words. Use this space to show all the things that set you apart from the rest

Sledging for young and old

The Paradis also goes downhill on a toboggan! Take the Colorado Luge down more than 1,500 metres, with the added bonus of a view of Mont Blanc.

Handiskiing and accessible sports

There are many ways to discover La Plagne. Everyone takes their own path, and we make that a priority.

MTB & Fatbike in winter

Discover La Plagne from a different angle this winter with fatbikes and mountain bikes on snow! Ride through breathtaking snow-covered landscapes on specially prepared trails for a unique experience. Whether you're a cycling enthusiast or an adventurer in search of new sensations, La Plagne offers routes to suit all levels.

Ice climbing

There's something magical about ice climbing. A hand-to-hand encounter with a glittering material, an effort under extreme conditions, an unforgettable moment in a cinema setting. The Champagny le Haut ice tower is a structure made of steel and wood, covered with water that freezes thanks to the valley's polar temperatures.

SUMMER ACTIVITIES

Bike

It was in La Plagne that the first mountain bikes were introduced in the 80s, even before suspension bikes were called suspensions... the Tarentaise mountain bike resort is now equipped to delight cyclists and mountain bikers of all levels and aspirations. With kilometers of itineraries, a carefully maintained bike park and fun E-spots, all you have to do is get on your bike! For those who prefer the road and the peloton spirit, La Plagne has some great loops and climbs to the summits and passes.

White water sports

La Plagne is also "The Valley", with a choice asset: the Isère River. It rises in the Alps and flows into the Rhône 8 km upstream of Valence. The Haute Tarentaise region combines three factors to make it a sensational river: the natural gradient of the terrain, snowmelt and spring rainfall. Add to this a breathtaking environment: wooded passages, the crossing of Aime, gorges de la Pucelle... This river will surprise you! Make way for white water. Whether rafting, kayaking or hydrospeeding, the Isère will give you intense sensations, while refreshing you nicely.

Walking tour

Vanoise hiking or Tarentaise hiking? What will you be exploring this summer? In La Plagne, summer is shaping up to be a pleasant, sunny one. It's the perfect opportunity to savor the mountains, for a moment of discovery and thrills in unspoiled surroundings. Hiking in La Plagne, on either the Vanoise or Tarentaise side, will fill your lungs with big bowls of fresh, healthy air, far from the noise of the cities. In this hiker's paradise, plunge into picturesque landscapes painted with glaciers, glacial lakes, waterfalls, mountains and valleys.

Tree climbing

Play it like Tarzan! Explore the Alpine canopy on one of La Plagne's adventure courses. Accrobranche is a great way to get a bit of height, but above all to have fun in an ecosystem that's usually not very accessible.
